Winter break has arrived! The kids have been looking forward to time off school, but now all you’re hearing is “mommmmmy, there’s nothing to do!”

Never fear, Macaroni Kid is here! We’ve got a top 10 list of fun things to do in SW Las Vegas while the kids are off school for the holidays. We’re here to help you find your family fun in SW Las Vegas, Nevada!

Why you should go: battleBLAST offers hours upon hours of indoor fun for everyone in the family. Parents you can team up with your kids or battle against each other during this fun indoor laser tag adventure. 

Bouncy World

Why you should go: Bouncy World offers a safe, indoor place for kids to play. We love this place because there is so much variety and kids never run out of something to do. 

Combat Zone Paintball

Hours: Fridays 3-8 p.m. and Saturdays-Sundays 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Cost: Tickets starting at $34 per person

Why you should go: Kids love to be outside and Combat Zone Paintball allows them to run around outside, shooting paintball guns and get dirty. As a kid, there is nothing better than that! 

Dig This

Cost: Prices vary based on experience. Kids digs start at $20 for 15 minutes.

Why you should go: This is one of our favorite places to go in SW Las Vegas. Dig this has something for kids and for adults. Check it out today and schedule your Dig Experience with the kids. 

Lion Habitat Ranch

Hours: Thursday-Monday 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Cost: Children 3 and under free; 1 child per adult (age 4-14) free; Ticket prices starting at $20 for locals

Why you should go: Kids are going to love seeing these magnificent animals up close. The LIon Habitat Ranch offers a variety of opportunities to see the animals and learn more about each animal at the sanctuary. 

McKee Ranch Foundation

Hours: Daily during daylight hours.

Cost: Free, but donations are encouraged

Why you should go: Kids of all ages will love feeling like they are back on the farm. At McKee Ranch Foundation, kids will have access to see and pet farm animals and learn how they are taken care of. It is a great educational opportunity. 

School of Rock Las Vegas West

Why you should go: Go and take a free tour of School of Rock Las Vegas West and learn about the different musical programs they offer. Your kids will enjoy their tour and want to come back for lessons and their summer camps. 

Silverton Casino Mermaids

Hours: Mermaid School & Meals with a Mermaid: Saturdays & Sundays; Mermaid Experience: Fridays-Sundays

Cost: Varies from $0-$100 per child/person

Why you should go: Take the kids to experience one of the mermaid activities at the Silverton Casino this winter break. Kids ages 7-12 can learn to swim like a mermaid or you can stop by for dinner with a mermaid. Meet and greet opportunities are available, complete with photo opportunities.

Parents, if you don’t want to jump, there is a great place to kick back and relax while you wait.
