Yesterday we have the opportunity to review Disney On Ice presents Mickey’s Search Party at the Thomas and Mack Center here in Las Vegas. The performance is in town through Sunday, January 12, 2020. Here is our review! |
Have you been seeing all the hype and excitement around Disney On Ice presents Mickey’s Search Party? Have you been wondering if you should go? Well, um, yeah. You need to go. Even if you have seen a Disney On Ice performance in the past, this is the one you and the family do not want to miss.
We attended the opening night of Disney On Ice presents Mickey’s Search Party and being a Disney family (I worked for Disney for 15 years), it was so much fun to go back to the good ole days. Even out 16 year old son ended up saying that he had a better time than he thought he would. (Yeah, we dragged him to the show.)
When the lights went down, everyone’s beloved Disney characters - Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald danced their way onto the ice. It was a jolly good time, until Captain Hook, Smee and their pirate crew trapped Tinkerbell, making away with her magic wand. The only way for her to be freed is for the audience to go on an adventure with all of the Disney characters leading the way. Each and every journey filled the Magic Meter taking the audience closer to freeing Tinkerbell.
Throughout the performance the audience was treated to Disney classics such as “Be Our Guest” (Beauty and the Beast), “How Far I’ll Go” (Moana), “Friend Like Me” (Aladdin) and “Remember Me (Coco). My personal part of the show was when Miguel took the ice with his guitar, followed by all the bright colors from Dia de los Muertos. That was until my personal favorite song began to play - “Let It Go” from Frozen.
All of the kids in the audience, and many of the adults too, were on the edge of their seats, soaking in each individual story line. Watching how the audience reacted with each and every story line is proof that this is a spectacular performance. It is a must-see and you still have time to get your tickets before the show leaves Las Vegas.
There’s still time to see Disney On Ice presents Mickey’s Search Party. Performances continue on Saturday, January 11 and Sunday, January 12. Click here to purchase tickets today and use discount code DISMOMS to save 20% on your total ticket purchase.
