5 ways to use Macaroni Kid SW Las Vegas during COVID-19

By Heather Landon, Publisher SW Las Vegas, Henderson & Boulder City May 9, 2020

Things have been crazy the past few weeks and SW Las Vegas is here to help you get through it. We have changed over our website to feature virtual activities and local resources to help during COVID-19. We have had many of our readers ask how to find all these resources we have published. To help you better navigate our site, we have put together a guide on how to use Macaroni Kid during this time.

Events Calendar

We have filled our Events Calendar with virtual events, virtual field trips, at-home activities, food distributions sites, and essential business hours. We are working daily to add new items to the Events Calendar, so we encourage you to check it daily as there might be something new added for tomorrow.

Articles

We are filling our newsletters with a bunch of articles on virtual topics, including things to do at home, online activities, virtual field trips and more. We are also working on adding articles with home school tips, local food bank services, local businesses offering virtual and essential services, and much more.

Boredom Buster Guide

We have created a Boredom Buster Guide filled with at-home and virtual activities. You will find everything from educational resources to virtual resources and crafts to indoor fun. Check out the Boredom Buster Guide daily, as we add new items as we find them.

Facebook

We are sharing all of our articles, virtual events, tips, and more on our Facebook Pages. We are also posting details for food distribution sites and community announcements. Follow us on our Facebook page to get updates and see what is happening in our community.

Newsletter

Our newsletters are packed with articles to help you and your family during this time. We are including articles featuring everything from at home fun to family-friendly recipes and virtual activities to staying healthy. We also list several Mac Kid Mom Approved virtual events.

Let us know if there is any way we can better serve our community.
