Summer is here and kids are excited to be out of school. Though the end of the year did not end as it normally would, kids still anticipated summer’s arrival and the start of exciting summer camp programs. Kids are especially excited for the start of summer camps at School of Rock Las Vegas West. These programs teach kids how to embrace their musical talents and enhance their skills.
One camp we would like to feature is School of Rock’s Rookies Camp.
Beginning musicians ages 5 through 7 can learn musical concepts while exploring which instrument they enjoy the most during the Rookies Camp at School of Rock. This camp is a half-day program that is perfect for your budding student musician. No musical experience is necessary to participate in Rookies Camp. Kids will explore the BIG 5 Rock instruments through musical games and activities.
Rookies Camp runs one week from July 27 through July 31, 2020 from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Camp on Friday will be from 9 a.m. until noon. Students will practice all week long and on the last day of the camp they will present a concert for family and friends. The performance is at 11 a.m. on Friday July 31 and campers are released immediately after.
