City Of Las Vegas Provides Additional Safety Guidelines

As Youth Sports Leagues Are Welcomed Back To Practice On City Fields

By Press Release from the City of Las Vegas June 22, 2020

Reopening Now In Effect Following Phase 2 Safety Guidelines

The city of Las Vegas has reopened sports fields for organized youth sports following the safety guidelines provided by the state of Nevada. Youth organizations that have permits may utilize the fields for practice, but must follow all safety guidelines.

For youth sports, the only allowable use of city fields at this time is for practices. These practices must be socially distanced, with participants keeping six feet apart. In addition, the practices cannot be a gathering of more than 50 people. There will be no sharing of equipment.

In addition, the city is reducing the number of practices to keep from having large groups waiting to use fields while another group is finishing. There will be no concessions allowed at city fields until further notice.
