About me
Before moving to Henderson all of my friends and family said "Why are you moving to Vegas? That's not a great place to raise a child." I heard that so much leading up to our moving out here that I almost started to believe it. So the moment we were finally settled, I started looking for family-friendly things to do and to my surprise, I found so much to do, we were busy every weekend (and still are). I decided to join Macaroni Kid in May 2016 and put my journalism background to work. I have experience as a travel writer back in Florida and knew I could put my writing and desire to find family fun together to bring our readers some unique family experience ideas.
I started with Macaroni Kid by publishing Macaroni Kid Henderson-Boulder City (May 2016), followed by Macaroni Kid SW Las Vegas (June 2017) and now I am the publisher of Macaroni Kid North Las Vegas (Summer 2020).
