Red Rock Canyon offers families plenty of places to go hiking and a visitor center, filled with educational tidbits about our environment and local animals, kids will love taking in all the new information. What we love about Red Rock Canyon is that there is something for everyone in the family to enjoy. No matter how young or old, every member of your family is sure to have a great time exploring the 195,819 acres found within the Mojave Desert.

Red Rock Canyon offers visitors everything from a 13-mile scenic drive to trails and rock climbing to biking. No matter where you go in the park you can see breathtaking landscapes, flora and fauna, but keep your eyes open, because you never know what kind of wildlife you will spot. A campground is available just two miles east of the Visitor Center on W. Charleston.

With the weather starting to warm up, now is the perfect time to go visit Red Rock Canyon. Though it is a great place to visit any time of the year, spring is still cool enough and you won’t be fighting three-digit temperatures.

Price of admission to the park is $15 per vehicle for cars and trucks per day. There is an annual pass available for $30 per person. Click here for additional information about Red Rock Canyon.
